Professor P. K. Hakkaladaddi (30 June 1931 to 13 January 2013) To the world, he is sleeping, But in the divine, he is alive. Shri Parappa Kadappa Hakkaladaddi was born on 30 th June 1931 in Banhatti, Karnataka. After completing his 9 th Grade from S.R.A. School (Banhatti, District: Bagalkot), he went on to do his S.S.C. from R.L.S. High School (Bombay Province) in 1949 and his Inter-Science from Karnataka University (Dharwad) in 1951. He earned his B.Sc. Degree from Lingaraj College, Belgaum (Karnataka University) in 1953 and was awarded a scholarship by the University to pursue his M.Sc. Degree which he received in 1955. He served in the then Vijay College, Bijapur as a lecturer in Mathematics from 1955 to 1961. He worked as Head of Department (Mathematics) Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College (Ghatkopar, Mumbai) for nearly 28 years.
